Speed Cooking - Microwave Steam Vegitables w/o Steam Bag

Description

I usually keep bags of precut vegetables in the fridge. You can also use leftover from other recipes. All most all vegetables can be steamed by microwave. The generally ideas is add some water to the container, cover the container with plastic wrapper, then microwave it for a couple more minutes. (usually larger than 3 less than 10 for one or two person plate.)

Notes

In this recipe, speed and simplicity is more of a concern. Different vegitrables takes different amount of time to steam. Steaming all vegetables in one container is faster but not all vegitable will be best cooked. However, since we can eat most vegetables raw and over steamed vegetables only gets softer. It is no risk of timing it wrong.

Some vegitables has a lot water and some don't. Adding a couple spoons of water in the container make sure there are enought water to conver to steam. No need to bath the vegitables in water.
